Ulrik Beck

Since 2022, Ulrik has been a core member of the team at the think tank Kraka, where, as Chief Economist, he has both advised on and conducted analyses of the Danish economy as well as impact assessments of economic policy in a broad sense.

Prior to his time at Kraka, Ulrik was affiliated with the Ministry of Finance’s modelling group DREAM, where, as a project manager, he contributed to the development of elements of the climate economic model GrønREFORM.

Ulrik therefore brings deep expertise in climate economics, which is essential for advancing economic initiatives within the green transition. He has also served as a Chief Advisor at the Secretariat of the Danish Economic Councils, focusing on the agricultural green transition.
