Peter Mogensen

Peter Mogensen holds a degree in Economics from Aarhus University and has built a long and distinguished career at the intersection of politics, economics, media and advisory services. As Head of Secretariat in the Prime Minister’s Office from 1997 to 2000, and as a close personal adviser to the then Prime Minister Poul Nyrup Rasmussen, Peter gained unique insight into decision making processes at the highest levels of Danish politics.

Following his tenure at the Prime Minister’s Office, he continued his career in consulting at Accenture, where he became an international partner before leaving the firm in 2007. He later served as Political Editor in Chief at Politiken.

In 2011, Peter founded the socioeconomic think tank Kraka with the ambition of shaping public debate through actionable, academically grounded economic insights.

This ambition was further advanced in 2019 with the establishment of the consulting firm Kraka Economics, which advises both public and private sector clients and was subsequently acquired by Maj Invest.

Today, Peter remains Chief Executive Officer of Kraka and serves as Chair of the Board at Kraka Economics
